Teletherapy

What is Teletherapy?

Teletherapy is therapy or counseling and related services using telecommunication technologies. These telecommunications include video sessions or video conferencing, phone calls, emails and text messages.  It can also include using other online resources like self-help websites, blogs or social media, and youtube videos.

For teletherapy sessions, we use HIPAA protected Google Hangouts/Meets through our secure G-Suie platform, as well as email through Anna@annatyrrell,com.  We also communicate by phone and limited text messaging.

Due to the Coronavirus, restrictions on HIPAA requirements have been lifted to allow for easier access to telehealth, including teletherapy. At Anna Tyrrell & Associates, we have done our due diligence to be sure that our services are HIPAA compliant. Anna is certified in teletherapy and has been working diligently to be sure that you can still recieve the service you need in this challenging time.
